Hello, I am testing 3.0.1 on solaris 8. When I open a session on a samba server from a XP box, after user/password entered I obtain an error message : server service not started I apologize because I translate into English a French expression in French XP. Here is the logs I read on the server : log.agly "agly is machine name a little river in the south of France" [2004/01/29 15:08:43, 0] lib/util.c:smb_xmalloc(2055) smb_xmalloc() failed to allocate 1111638594 bytes [2004/01/29 15:08:43, 0] lib/util.c:smb_panic(1400) PANIC: smb_xmalloc: malloc fail. If so, then this issue has been fixed in 3.0 CVS, try the 3.0.2rc2 release due shortly.
