samba - Jul 2002 - Samba + VPN + W98

Hello,

I have a network in my office width a Linux RedHat 7.2 Samba Server and W98
Stations, and I want to connect via VPN from my home to the office network from
my home W98 station, and I want to have access to all stations from both sides.
It's possible to do that?
Where can I find documentation or software to implement the solution?

Note: I have a ADSL Internet connection.

I think it is possible to do it this way. Unless anyone knows otherwise.

If you have a linux machine with a real IP on your office network then
you can run a PPTP server (www.poptop.org). If your samba server acts as
a wins server on your office network and you tell pptp the wins server
then when you dialin it should register you to the wins server and
everyone should see you in the office and you should be able to see
everyone in the office.

    I've saw your  post on the net today. I also want to try this 
methode on my network, It would be nice if this can be done.

    I've saw a book Title "Building a VPN using Linux", do you
read this
book yet, the comment from the reader told me that, this book tell many 
things about protocal but not on implementation.

    Kept in touch I would really want this dream to be ture.
