Hi! The problem is that W98 doesn't ask user for username when connecting to SMB-share. This is not a problem when sharing between W98-computers, since those only require password for connecting - username is not taken into account. Hallo, I try to boot the windows 98 bootdisk via memdisk. It doesn't work completely. Booting a freedos FD image works, booting the windows 98 image works too. hi all, After inspecting different W98 configuration, it appears that if you've got multiuser/session activated on a W98, it forces the use of remote profile on the Samba server, in your personnal folder (/home/user). desactivating this beahviour and all is right now. cheers
