wine users - Feb 2011 - Who is the site admin?

I've just registered, and got my acknowledgement email.
I am shocked to see that my password was sent via email in plain text.
There is no need for this. This is just plain stupid.

Why do people wonder why forums have such a bad reputation for getting spammed
out of control????

That's the way it is. Don't like it, don't use the same password for
multiple sites. This is just a forum, not your bank.
