wine users - Dec 2009 - Installing .exe files on mac... please help.

I am trying to install Cities Xl on my Mac mini and I keep coming up with so
many missing files about half way through the install.  I end having to abort it
every time.  I see in many other forums people have been able to successfully
run and install this program.  I am new to wine and maybe I?m just doing
something retarded.  But if this is a problem people have with many programs and
it?s not this program specific then I am hoping someone can help me.
