try with disabling callprogress and enabling busycount
for busydetect.
For example:
<snip>
callprogress=no
busydetect=yes
busycount=8 ; the default is 4, I think
</snip>
so with that, the busy detector will wait 4 8 busy tones,
instead of 4 (the default). That solved my
problem with random hangups.
btw, think that 6 is safe too. just play with it.
