busydetect=yes, busycount=5: hangup automtically without reason, why?
Hi All;
Why busydetect=yes caused this autmatic hangup happens
without any reson (while responding to entering the
digits in the IVR) I do not know! And what is the
solution I do not know.
I used busydetect=yes and busycount=5 in zapata.conf
to help me in hangup when detect the busy tone, but I
faced the following problem:
While I am calling to the Asterisk PBX, and during the
response for the IVR and enter the digits and the
code, it hangup by it self (whout any reason).
I do not if I have to increase the busycount...

TDM11B Hang up detection not working in France ?
...phone, 1 softphone
I'm in France
When someone from PSTN calls and hangs up before the call is answered,
internal extension keeps ringing until timeout occurs. PSTN line keeps
busy. Hangup detection doesn't work.
I've played with different paremeters (callprogress, busydetect,
busycount, hanguponpolarityswitch) without success.
I've googled around and it seems this problem is specific to France.
Is there any French people in this list that has a TDM11B that hangs up
correctly ?

Why do Zaptel calls drop all of a sudden? Could busy detect be the problem?
Hi Guys,
I am getting a complain that call on analogue lines (Sangoam A400D) drops
all of a sudden. Here is what I see in logs:

X100P - Busydetect / calls being disconnected - Australia; tip.
...pening was, when the call is answered, 5 quick chirps are sent
down the line. However, because of the bug in the Cisco 7960 causing the
first 1/2 a second or so of a conversation to be cut off - I didn't hear
these chirps and as such I didn't think of the next bit:
Basically, because I had busycount set to 3 and busydetect set to yes, these
chirps were being detected by the busydetect function and causing the call
to be disconnected. I raised the busycount to something safe (8) and this no
longer happened.
This has me worried for a while, especially as I'd just disconnected the old

Zap channels in AU hanging up on STD pips
Is anyone having/had a problem with a TDM400P card hanging up on STD
outbound calls as soon as the called party answers.
I'm guessing that * is responding to the STD pips in some way.

busydetect and random hangups
Hi,
I'm having random hangup problems with zap channels.
If I turn busydetect off in Zapata.conf, * fails completely to detect a
user hangup in the middle of a script.
On the other hand, if I turn it on, everything works much better, but
long calls tend to be hung up without a motive.
Any other parameter that I can try? Any #define that I can tweak and
recompile?

I have 4 Zap channels signalled FXO_KS to the 750 with FXS_LS channels, On-Hook messaging disabled, the rest defaults for the channels. In zapata.conf I've tried with both busydetect=>yes and busydetect=>no.... busycount=>6, busycount=>10, callprogress=>yes, callprogress=>no all combinations.
The weird thing is, that if I forward the incoming call from the PRI out another channel on the PRI into a POTS line hooked into the RAS server, the connection is fine. In my view, that rules out the PRI and poi...

Ok,
is it me or do some of the commands just not work properly? I asked for mailboxstatus
and got:
Response: Success
Message: Mailbox Status
Mailbox: 1000
Waiting: 0
which is all well and good, except of course I have 2 messages waiting... which kinda means
it only works, if you have 0 messages... (using voicemail not voicemail2)

Hang up not hanging up (New Zealand Indications??)
Hi there,
I have a new asterisk working in New Zeland and everything is working
well except when an incoming call to the PSTN hangs up, asterisk wont
hang up the zap trunk (X100P).
I have found this information:

Which discusses my problem and i have made sure that i have the latest
info in the indications.conf as follows:

Patch to avoid sporadic hangup during normal conversation
Hi, Mark.
I'm posting a little patch that permits to set the busycount value in dsp (via chan_zap), for systems that have "busydetect=yes" in zapata.conf and have noticed sporadic hangup, caused by incorrect cadence detection during normal conversation.
With this patch, it's possible to increase the busycount from 3 (default) to 5 (max, because DSP_HIST...

TDM400P and AGGRESSIVE_SUPPRESSOR dropping calls
...ight.
Today, we've had nothing but problems with it dropping calls.
I installed the latest CVS of everything, and we've been getting
random hangups. If I disable AGGRESSIVE_SUPPRESSOR, the random
hangups seem to stop but we of course experience *really* bad echo.
I have busydetect=yes and busycount=8, which has previously been
working just fine with the X100Ps.
Does anyone have an idea what's going on or how to fix it?

busydetect and X100P hangups
FYI to anyone else who may be experiencing random hangups; I removed the
busydetect=yes lines from the conf files on my asterisk servers, and
haven't had a hangup since.
I had done that once before and it didn't seem to have much of an
effect, so I'm not breaking out the champagne yet. But so far over
dozens of calls both made and received since I took that line out, I

How can I investigate those 2 problems in order to find what's happ...
