Outgoing FXO calls have no audio with callprogress=no
My outgoing FXO calls are answered but have no audio in either direction if I have callprogress=no in chan_dahdi.conf. If I change to callprogress=yes then the audio returns. My chan_dahdi.conf file is listed below. Can anyone point-out why callprogress=no isn't working? #cat /tmp/a [trunkgroups] [channels] language=en context=incoming toneduration=40 ;usedistinctiveringdetection=y...

Outgoing call answer confirmation
...;ve been trying to make an outside call by copying sample.call to /var/spool/asterisk/outgoing. I want the VoiceMailMain to run when the call is answered. The call is made correctly but, as you probably know, the application starts as soon as the call is made. I see there are two solutions: Using callprogress=yes in zapata.conf -> Nothing happens. No ring is detected, the asnwer is not detected, only the hangup is detected and the call fails. Using "Answer confirmation" by entering "Channel: Zap/1c/XXXXXXX" in sample.call -> The # sign is correctly detected ans the answer is c...

More on"Callprogress"
Here is some more stuff to add to the confusion about the "callprogress" option. I currently have my * system operating with a T100P talking to an ADTRAN TSU600 channel bank with 8 FXO ports connecting to the outside world and Grandstream SIP phones as handset extensions. At first I naively set "callprogress=yes" in zapata.conf. The results were t...

callprogress option
>From what I've been reading about the callprogress option, it seems like it will work properly only with a T1 or PRI in the US. Is that correct or are there still issues with call progress detection even if those qualifications are met? Thanks, Shaun Tierney

callprogress issue
I'm running Asterisk 1.6.2.1 with DAHDI 2.2.1 using a TDM410P. I have callprogress=yes in chan_dahdi.conf because, from everything I've read, it is needed when using call files over PSTN, which I DO use occasionally. I know that callprogress=yes is "experimental" and causes some issues. We've never experienced any problems when making local calls over PSTN with...

callprogress and queues
Hi, Would anyone happen to have experience with the callprogress option? What I'm trying to do is use a couple normal POTS lines in a queue setup where it will call the queue members to pass the call to them. Of course the problem I'm running into is that under normal conditions the lines register as answered immediately and the caller gets tra...

TDM400P FXO callprogress doesn't detect remote answer
Location = US asterisk/zaptel from CVS. Updated last week some time. Currently rebuilding with todays checkout. I have 2 fxo channels hooked up to outside standard Bell South phone lines. If I configure as so [channels] context=pstn group = 1 signalling = fxs_ks callprogress = yes channel => 4,3 Then any call routed from asterisk to the outside line will ring, and can be picked up, but * never detects pickup.. -- Executing Macro("SIP/phone3-e601", "dialout|93053484021") in new stack -- Executing Dial("SIP/phone3-e601", &quot...

X100P random hangups.
I have a couple of X100P's in my system and while on calls they just randomly hang up for no reason. I have tried messing with the busydetect and callprogress setting them to yes and no same and still random hangups. Is there another setting I should be looking at? My zap config looks like. context = inbound-work include => extensions signalling = fxs_ks group = 1 callgroup...

x100P: Ring/off-hook in strange state 6 on channel1
All of a sudden I am getting the following warning "Ring/off-hook in strange state 6 on channel1" from chan_zap.c and I cannot answer calls. I can place calls out without a problem though. Any ideas what can be the problem. I have checked zapata.conf and zaptel.conf and they both seem fine. Thanks in advance. Dan -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

Using Call Progress
I'm attempting to use callprogress in my system, and I'm having trouble. Callprogress always can tell if the line is busy or ringing, but when the line is answered, the call does not get bridged. Messages showing that "line is ringing" stop in the console and if the called party hangs up, asterisk reports the line i...

how to distinguish the "ringing" and "connected" for zap channel
I have a TDM card in a asterisk machine. I found that once I used it to call out, the call status changed to "connected" even the callee is still ring. How could asterisk distinguish the "ringing" and "connected" in zap channel? thanks.

Openloop disconnect?
...? Other question: maxsilence and silencethreshold don't seem to have any effect on voicemail. Could it be possible that in certain situation it just wont work? I tried adding some verbose in app.c to have the totalsilent variable printed out and it remains a 0 forever. Finaly, does callprogress=yes should be working down here in Canada? Actually, everything seems to be broken (the wildcard x100p or the zaptel drivers plus a combination of many libraries/etc). Thank you for your quick answer, Dave

TDM4000P with 4 FXO's not picking up ringing lines
Ive just installed a TDM4000P with 4 fxos. The zaptel config is fine, zttest comes back with configured. If i call a line when zttest it shows on the display, and then goes when the line drops. In * when a call comes in, it follows my dialplan and answers the call according to the log, but IT DOESN'T actually pick up the call, i.e. it continues ringing. I'm using KS signalling, and

TDM11B Hang up detection not working in France ?
...TDM11B (1 Fxo / 1 fxs ), 1 phone, 1 softphone I'm in France When someone from PSTN calls and hangs up before the call is answered, internal extension keeps ringing until timeout occurs. PSTN line keeps busy. Hangup detection doesn't work. I've played with different paremeters (callprogress, busydetect, busycount, hanguponpolarityswitch) without success. I've googled around and it seems this problem is specific to France. Is there any French people in this list that has a TDM11B that hangs up correctly ? regards Pascal OFFREDO _______________________________________...

Asterisk Randomly Hanging up on Zap channels
Hi List, I've got * randomly hanging up on inbound or outbound calls on zap channels. I use a Digitnetworks X100P clone card. Any idea of what might be happening? Cheers, Jean-Michel.

Call Progress Analysis
Hi to all, I'm using a TDM22B. When i establish an external call to the PSTN through an FXO port, I'm not able to know the status of the call (no answer, busy, ...). If I enable call progress (callprogress=yes) in Zapata.conf, I am able to detect the no answer state but if the callee on the PSTN answers the call asterisk doesn't detect that and it jumps to the NOANSWER state and executes the command there as if nobody answered the call. I need this because I want to have a follow-me application t...

Zapata FXO always answers call?
...ne, except that * says on the log that the call was answered, even if it?s still ringing. The problem is that now I want to set up voicemail to those analog extensions, but since * says it "answered on first ring" it never goes to the next priority, where voicemail is called. I tried callprogress=yes on zapata.conf but it has no effect. Here is a tipical log from a call I have _not_ answered: -- Executing Dial("SIP/2000-a638", "Zap/g1/32|20") in new stack -- Called g1/32 -- Zap/1-1 answered SIP/2000-a638 I?m runnign 0.9.0 from the tar archive.
