A co-worker has been having problems with using Tinn-R and has posted to their help forum and got no response. So I am asking if anyone else who might be using Tinn-R has seen the problems that he is experiencing. I am using the same version of R and Tinn-R that he is, and I have not seen it. I assume it must be some way that the 'clipboard' is operating dependent upon so other system configuration, probably in Windows itself. Here is what he is seeing: ===================================================================== "Cannot open clipboard" Error I am using Version 1.19.4.7 and R 2.10.1 (and Windows XP). I had no problems for well over a year, and then I installed R 2.11.1 (I have since uninstalled it). I started randomly getting this error when I would try to send highlighted text over to the R window (either by the "Send Selection" or "Send Selection (source)" buttons). A window with a red X pops up in Tinn-R, with this message. Sometimes it works for a while without happening, and then will happen several times in a row. I tried uninstalling and re-installing Tinn-R to no avail. I compared settings with a co-worker who is having no problems, and my settings are the same. -- Jim Holtman Cincinnati, OH +1 513 646 9390 What is the problem that you are trying to solve?
