unistalling gplpv from win7x64 gives BSOD
I have installed the 210 gplpv (debug), when I try to update them with current gplpv I get a BSOD even so when I try to uninstall them. Now I have made a bootentry that specifies NOGPLPV, what gives me a bootable system after such a crash, I found (uninstalling the leftover driver packages after getting bsod during uninstall of the main package) that uninstalling the net driver leads to bsod. Now I booted in safe mode (nogplpv) and uninstalled the disabled networkinterface in hardware manager. Is there a more convenient workflow to uninstall/update the g...

Uninstall Adobe Acrobat 7.0
Installed a 30 day trial of Adobe Acrobat 7.0 and I'm now trying to "properly" uninstall. I run "uninstaller" and the program shows up in the list of installed programs. In Uninstaller: click on the program description to highlight it and then clicking the Uninstall tab causes the hard drive to wobble about a bit, the program becomes un-highlighted and the uninstaller

OT: Google Earth - How to uninstall, before installing newest version?
Desktop is CentOS 5.4 (32 bit). I have Google Earth version 4.2.205.5730 (13NOV2007 build date) installed. I have checkinstall (spelling?) installed, but am not sure if that was installed before or after Google Earth was installed. I have the Google Repository installed, but apparently Google Earth cannot be updated via yum and probably it was not installed via yum. Question: What is the best

How does a noob have to uninstall Wine (on MacOSX)??
...ore, I would like to uninstall Wine totaly. I don't know how to do... I found this : > 2.7. How do I uninstall Wine? > If you want to remove Wine entirely after you installed it with your distribution's package manager, you can generally uninstall in the same way. Note, however, that uninstalling Wine will not eliminate the virtual Windows installation - to do that you must follow the instructions below. If you installed Wine from source, then use make uninstall in the source directory to remove it. I think I have to use make uninstall but I don't know where is situated the source dire...

trouble with uninstall
...I am running Windows XP Professional, Version 2002, SP 3. I've also tried the unins000.exe file as suggested in the help, and I get the same "64-bit Windows" message with that executable. Mainly I'm wondering if there is a workaround for this issue, or an alternative method for uninstalling so I can circumvent the error message. Thank you in advance, John John W. [PATCH 0/2] v2v: uninstall the VMware Tools from Windows guests
It seems newer versions of VMware Tools for Windows can be uninstalled also when the guest does not run on VMware anymore. Hence, attempt to uninstall them during a conversion, reusing the same code already used to uninstall Parallel Tools. This was tested with the following Windows guests: - Windows 2008r2 - Windows 2012r2 - Windows 2016 - Windows 7 - Windows 8 - Windows 10 Pino Toscano (2):

make uninstall can delete xen-kernels
Nice time. # make uninstall ... rm -rf //boot/*xen* ... if somebody use "xen" in kernel name (maybe as suffix), so it will be deleted from /boot/ too. Thanks. Denis.

[PATCH] convert_windows: uninstall Parallels Tools on first boot
If present, Parallels Tools may stand in the way of proper running the windows guests in non-Parallels hypervisors, so we're better off uninstalling them on the first boot into the new environment. With this patch, the uninstall records for Parallels Tools are looked up in the registry and, if found, corresponding firstboot actions are registered, taking special care that those actions are run fully unattended. [PATCH] Check for, and uninstall, VMware Tools installed from tarball
VMware Tools can be installed by RPM or from a tarball. We were only looking for the RPM. If it was installed by tarball, we would end up leaving it in place. If VMware Tools detects that it is not running on a VMware platform when it starts, it will clumsily try to uninstall itself, leading to misconfiguration. This patch looks for tarball-installed VMware Tools and uninstalls it. Fixes
