Root Filesystem image

I would start an Virtual Machine  but I''m finding any difficulties .  I
would start it with an root filesystem image but i am not finding it.
There is someone who can help me . Thx

Can you provide your config file, please? Is there any error output when 
you start your VM? What toolstack you use?
