[Xen-users] Paravirtualization drivers for running windows guests being release ???
Not that I really believe it but I read somewhere (cant find it again) that microsoft was releasing paravirtualization drivers for kvm that would be adaptable to xen. Is this rumor or is this true? I honestly can''t imagine why Microsoft would do this so I am skeptical, can anyone confirm or deny this? Provide a link perhaps? thanks, hikenboot _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

Is this rumor or is this true?AFAIK microsoft is releasing Linux drivers for their virtualization solution http://news.cnet.com/8301-13505_3-10290686-16.html While Redhat releases windows PV drivers for KVM http://saviorodrigues.wordpress.com/2009/08/26/kvms-windows-virtualization-driver-news-is-overhyped/ RH''s drivers might be adaptable to Xen, but AFAIK James Harper''s GPLPV has been more widely used and tested. -- Fajar _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
