A few of the concepts discussed in this forum are really very interesting, like: - putting physical device drivers in a domU to avoid crashing all domU''s if it fails - putting a firewall in a domU to protect access to dom0 - bonded networks for iSCSI access of VM images - etc... Can anybody suggest a good book that covers some or better yet all :^) of these topics ? Thanks. Hide the PCI device of a network card from Dom0 - been discussed recently, search the archives for pciback. Try a thread "Exclusive allocation of network card" from around the 21st April this year. Make the device available to the DomU. Treat that as your outside interface, and the regular virtual network card(s) as the inside. Run whatever OS/Firewall combination you are happy with in the DomU - treat it just like you would a real box with two (or more) interfaces. -- Simon Hobson Visit http://www.magpiesnestpublishing.co.uk/ for books by acclaimed author Gladys Hobson. Novels - poetry - short stories - ideal as Christmas stocking fillers.
