Hi, What are the requirements for the ''Install Location'' using the xenguest-install utility? Specifically, what protocols are supported and what needs to be in the specified directory? - Ben _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

For example a Fedora Core 6, x86_64 install over HTTP is http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/6/x86_64/os/ You can also use ftp:// or nfs: in the URLs. The contents of the directory pointed to, should basically be a merge of all 5 CD ISOs as seen by the HTTP location above. In Fedora Core 5 & 6, xenguest-install (now called virt-install in FC6 and later) only supports installing of Fedora / RHEL distros. In F7 there is now experimental support for SUSE style distros, again you''d point to the top level directory of a SUSE install tree.
