Hello, I''ve some problem with the kernel compile. I''ve downloaded the 2.6.16 kernel from kernel.org and applied the patch for xen when I compile the kernel : make I only have vmlinuz and vmlinux in the source tree, no bzImage available in the arch/i386/boot directory ... Hence, I can''t boot with the xenified kernel I would like to obtain a xen kernel for a rhel 4 with the PAE and DRBD support. I tried a lot of things without success What''s the best pratice to compile a kernel with xen from scratch ? I need help, please :) Tsunami Self-Destruction might be the answer --------------------------------- Get your own web address for just $1.99/1st yr. We''ll help. Yahoo! The kernel image will not be in arch/i386/boot, but ia64 or x86_64. This is used to load Xen itself, the kernel and if needed the initrd. So the lack of bzImage is simply that the kernel is complete without it. -- Mats> Brian > > > > > > Tsunami > > Self-Destruction might be the answer > > > > --------------------------------- > > Get your own web address for just $1.99/1st yr.
