I am using the XEN 2.6.16-1.2096_FC5, and I am not obtaining no way to make to initiate the network of a domain. Bringing up interface eth0: Device eth0 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization. [FAILED] or with "alias xennet eth0" in modprobe: Bringing up interface eth0: xennet device eth0 does not seem to be present, delaying initialization. [FAILED] I am trying many howto and nothing: http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_xen3_debian (considering that it is for the Debian) or http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenNetworking -- Leonardo Pinto listas#openlogic dot com br _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
If that is exactly how you put it in your modprobe.conf, you''ve got it the wrong way round. It should be: alias eth0 xennet. Grateful, it forgives me. I really put in /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf.dist "alias eth0 xennet" I do not know more what I can make. Already I tried of everything, however the domain insists on not seeing the interface. -- Leonardo Pinto listas#openlogic dot com br On Fri, 05 May 2006 15:54:35 +0100, Phil Evans wrote> If that is exactly how you put it in your modprobe.conf, you''ve got > it the wrong way round.
