I''m running Xen 3.0.1 with Debian based Dom0 and DomU. The time in the DomU''s have drifted badly in that Kerberos authentication doesn''t work anylonger. I can''t seem to manually set the time either with ntpdate or date -s. Dom0 has the correct time. I found an earlier reference to time drift in the archives but not any responses. How is the hardware clock managed for the DomU''s? -Jon _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
Found a fix in the archives, embarassingly under the same exact subject line I chose: echo 1 > /proc/sys/xen/independent_wallclock and then the DomU can sync it''s own time, I am still curious why the clock would vary several minutes to 1/2 hour from the Dom0 clock when linked though. -Jon _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
