Hello, Im new to ubuntu 11.04 and wine and playonlinux..... im trying to play fallout 3 on my system... the disk installs perfectly ever time but when i try to run fallout 3 it gives me a no cd/dvd DRIVE message... i have tried going into wine config and adding a drive and setting it as cd-rom and mapping straight to the mounted Fallout 3 folder in /media.... i even tried downgrading to wine 1.2.3 instead of 1.3.28 i believe? any help would be greatly appreciated

We cannot support POL per an agreement with the package maintainers (if you want POL support you are going to have to ask them.) Second, install Wine from the development ppa. The current version is 1.3.28. Third, visit the friendly and informative Applications Database page for Fallout3. There is a How-To on using Fallout3 with DLCs and other hints/tricks for installing and running this program. The URL for the web page is http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=14322 Fourth, if this does NOT work, please feel free to post a message on the page or continue with a new forum topic. Thank you. James
