Excuse the possibly stupid question, but what exactly do these letters mean, following the word WINE? I only heard about abbreviation "headquarters" and "high quality".
I guess, they mean "headquarters", as they appear only if the WINE-Website or something related is meant. But I don't give any guarantee about the correctness of the statement above.
Yes Head Quarters is what HQ stands for. winehq is also wine main support channel name as well. I think the IRC channel was first. But I would have todo a bit of digging to confirm that. winehq existed pre 2000. So no way it could be high quality.
