Everytime I try to load a file I get this message. The file '/home/secord/Downloads/msgr10us.exe' is not marked as executable. If this was downloaded or copied form an untrusted source, it may be dangerous to run. For more details, read about the executable bit. Any way around it? I cant make it executable either its just not an option.
> Any way around it? I cant make it executable either its just not an option. How come? Is it on a FAT partition? Anyway, running from the terminal (or a script) would work. That message only appears if you try to run it through anything graphical, for safety measures.
Nope im on a ext4 filesystem. And running in script never even occurred to me... =\
Permissions denied when I try to run through script.....
