What version do you have and what exactly did you do?First try was http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=3632&iTestingId=43142 as this was the version of the game I have. Although it uses an older version of ubuntu and wine. Also tried methods mentioned on http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=5254 I will try to update to the latest dev version and try again. Any links to what must be done to get dx9 apps working in latest dev version of wine?
Still no luck. Now running wine 1.3.14 When I start the game I get: Code: fixme:service:QueryServiceObjectSecurity 0x1379a0 4 0x137c58 0 0x32eeb8 - semi-stub fixme:service:QueryServiceObjectSecurity 0x1379a0 4 0x137c58 28 0x32eeb8 - semi-stub fixme:service:SetServiceObjectSecurity 0x1379a0 4 0x32ee34 then the splash screen is displayed and then just after the splash screen Code: fixme:system:SystemParametersInfoW Unimplemented action: 55 (SPI_SETMOUSEKEYS) fixme:system:SystemParametersInfoW Unimplemented action: 59 (SPI_SETSTICKYKEYS) err:ole:CoCreateInstance apartment not initialised err:ole:CoCreateInstance apartment not initialised err:ole:CoCreateInstance apartment not initialised err:ole:CoCreateInstance apartment not initialised err:ole:CoCreateInstance apartment not initialised err:ole:CoCreateInstance apartment not initialised err:ole:CoCreateInstance apartment not initialised err:ole:CoCreateInstance apartment not initialised err:ole:CoCreateInstance apartment not initialised err:ole:CoCreateInstance apartment not initialised Then nothing. Can someone say what the "err:ole:CoCreateInstance apartment not initialised" error is about? Google does not yield much useful results.

No idea what was changed by the patch to make it work for me though.
