Has anyone successful played Dragon Age using an ATI/AMD graphics card? I have it running great on my Nvidia card with winetricks but not on my ATI HD 4870. All I get is a black screen with none of the models showing up ingame. Are ATI/AMD drivers still not playing nice with WINE?

just try some different settings, one of them could possibly work. Till now, I have managed to get every game I tested running with ATI HD 5770, that according to appDB should run with wine, except lineage 2 which crashes because of some unknown reason.

You have a system with an nVidia card and that is the one you will have to use to run this program. In the meantime, you can file a bug report with AMD, but don't expect quick results. James McKenzie
I just found out if I set the game in windowed mode that everything is still black, but if I change the resolution the graphics magically appear. Kind of weird but it's now playable in a window. I have to change the resolution everytime after running the game though.
