wine users - Jan 2011 - ATI 5770 and Wow (low )

Hello plp,

I? triying to play wow with a ati 5770 and is imposible to do it (in medium
-high grapihcs). Does anyone how to play in a good graphics?
I have delete my ~wine, re-instaling last version, winetricks, I have disabled
GLSL, etc I have triying to play in directx11 and the results are the same I
cant play in medium-high quality. I use amd drivers with 3d acelaration. If
anyone have any sugestion will be really appreciate.

Also my Pc is a e8400->3,6ghz-ati 5770 and i can play in windows in ultra
with shadows.

Try running WoW in OpenGL. To do this, go to the WoW Folder > WTF >
config.wtf and add "SET gxAPI "OpenGL"" to the file. Save it
and try again.

If that don't work, try updating the DirectX DLLs.

Wine only supports DX 9. DX 10-11 is in early pre-alpha stage.

You can also run wine Wow.exe -opengl

Thanks for your answers and sorry for my bad english, the point is I can open
wow in directx or opengl I havent any problem with that, but since last
expansion it doesnt work good and i have trying in directx (I can open directx11
with wine) the results are the same in directx-opengl and I think there are ati
drivers becouse I know people with nvidia is playing rigth now very good in
directx (wine) my question is, does anyone how playing with this card get good
graphics rigth now in wow?
