When I run the wine installer on my mac (tools/wineinstall), it opens termanal and I get this: You're running this from the wrong directory. Change to the Wine source's main directory and try again. logout How do I fix this?
what the heck is the wine installer? what did you download... where are you getting Wine from?
Uhm, this website. http://www.winehq.org/announce/1.3.7 the bottom download link from prodownloads But anyways I found this other download of wine + something called wineboxer i think (something like that) that works better. i tried it, can only launch one of my pc programs on my mac, all the others crash cuz they cant handle it. :/

We cannot provide support for it here as the build does add additional code changes. James McKenzie

WineBottler? its a 3rd party program not supported here, if it works for ya.. then great. Getting anything to work under Wine is often not just install and play, it takes some custom configuration. check out the Wine AppDB for specific programs to see if anyone else has gotten them to work and how.
