i SCOURED the web for a FLACKING fix for this LAME ass problem WHY blizzard has to do lame shit like this and not use a NORMAL ass text document for there LAME ass agreement is beyond me FEATHER MORE why they make me scroll to the FLACKING botem of it frustrates me to no end... I could have just BYPASSED the POS problem otherwise but noooooo i have to go to the extremes JUST to play a LDFKJSDF game.. I instaled this and played this game PERFECTLY fine with the cds and now... Now of all things i have to download there POS installed off the internet and its html based CRAP ..... i open it useing wine... I press install lord of destruction MIND YOU THS IS NOT THE DAMN CD THIS IS THE INSTALLER U DOWNLOAD FROM BATTLE NET.. i had to bypass the download for the same problem by downloading it on windows computer hopeing i wouldint have to deal with again but low and behold there #$)(*$# agreement is in HTML and it keeps giveing me a HTML is not enabled error... I tried a lot of different tricks i feel like im overlooking something sImple though i even tried draging and droping firefox on the thing to see if firefox would back the installer up... lol Does anyone know how to enable HTML for this EXE
html rendering is currently dissabled i think thats the exact error.. i thought this error was fixed.. or perhaps this is a Uniqe situation Perhaps in fixing this error.. it might have an effect on some games? Perhaps not Oh hey BTW.. if you guys could aso get this SICK game called malkari and FRAGILE ALLEGIANCE To work On wine.... and trust me i tried everything with these There both windows 95 98 games I would find some way to personally make it up to you in some how or another
I had just installed both RoC and TFT on my netbook from the battle.net site. And now i am seeing the same message when i try to get onto battle.net and i still have over 120 gb left. Download Flv Player (http://www.flvplayerdownload.org/)
Damn it you guys need an edit butten It crashes instead of displaying the error WHat installed to my surprise what gecko I CLick the install butten... It just vanishes and never comes back
Zereon wrote:> Damn it you guys need an edit buttenIt was removed on purpose, see the second sticky forum post why. You could try winetricks ie6 to see if installing an actual Internet Explorer helps solve your problem...
HAHH.. i worked around the LAME installer lol i just downloaded the directory from my friend and drag and droped my Sweet sweet Storm Dl into the foler and BOOm it works.. EPIX.. But now i have another problem of lameness.. THe D2 blizard logo will show up It will even play the movie for me... But when the menu comes up it wont show the menu buttons And it has a Unhanded Exception Unknowin exception 8000100 i have messed around with some options to see ifi can get past this i even thought it was an openGL thing... but.. i dont think its open GL seeing as this game worked for me this way on 9.10..... Honestly this is one problem i cant figure out what is being caused by So now i got the game.. the game works But this menu problem....
allright im a nerd to so i know u want EXACT details here is EXACTLY what happens right after i click my mouse butten..to Remove the video to go to the menu It will shrink Show the top and ----> of my desktop as in the black screen is a resolution change basicly Then after Sometimes when i boot it it will play the music. other times it will show the backdrop for the menu but no Single player and battlenet butens and such But sometimes when i boot it wont even get that far.. and One time it played the music.. boy i got my hopes up big that time lol it waits for a bit.. like its frozen.. then it pops up the exception box i click ok then the wine thing says go to wine Db blah blah could be a deficiency in this or that then its closed there
I put it in Vertual desktop mode.. cool mode by the way and it gets a little farther then it did before The Diablo 2 Fire is animated it will bring up the menu backdrop every time now Still no music i think that music that one time was just luck The buttens still will not load.. i think its the buttens that are causeing the problem as they will not load and it just screams out exception

[Wine] HTML problem with Downloader from Battlenet

A few _minutes_ might make sense. Of course, it would also be _possible_ to allow edits, and mail out a diff whenever a post is edited, but someone would have to implement it. I suspect most of us would rather see the developers spending their time working _on wine_ rather than on forum/mailing list software.

If we could send out a second message, linked to the first with 'EDIT' in the subject line that would be best. I don't know if there is a module that can do this for the message board product we are using. If it existed, then we could go with this type of thought with the ability to remove the edit feature after the thread is updated. James McKenzie
