Hey guys, There's a weird issue occurring that doesn't make sense to me. Whenever I run any 3D application, I get the following error: wine: Unhandled page fault on read access It's followed by a few strings, and the debugger kicks in. This seems to only affect 3D application. Thanks, in advance, for the input. :) r2rX :D

I'm wondering if you are using an EXT3/4 partition to run from? James McKenzie

But any game using the Unreal >Tournament, Unreal Tournament 2004, Quake 2 and Quake 3 engine...this problem occurs.Let me get this 'straight'. You are attempting to run these games under Wine? I hope this is an experiment as these should be available in Linux versions (at least the Quake 2 engine should be.) However, I'm game to install Quake 2 on my Mac and see what happens (I may have to find the keycode tho') Have you tried Quake 4 (which should be based on the DoomIII engine)? James McKenzie

I'll check with Wine 1.3.3 this evening as well. If you want help with this, I would like for you to post the following here: Linux Distribution and Version. Video Card and Video drivers you are using. Please place that wonderfully LONG screen output on a site like pastebin.com and post the URL to get to it here. Thank you. James McKenzie
