Hey guys, I was curious about something. When Wine installs a program, that creates a shortcut after installation, it is usually placed on the desktop (as it would in Windows). So how I can create the same type of shortcut which will use the .exe's inbuilt icon; as Wine does? I know how to create a shortcut but i'd manually need to search for a .png file to use as that shortcuts icon.

I tested wine 1.0.1 , wine 1.2.0 , and wine 1.3.2 . All then run very well, but delay few minutes to startup the windows programs on my system, with no messages, this is the problem. I deleted the ~/.wine directory but the problem still. How can I solve it [ the delay on startup ] ?

When I try to run a certain DirectX app, all of the fonts become garbled. This patch is just a (shameless) copy from bug #28 [1]. The original patch has been sitting there for a couple of years now, and it was based on Syslinux v 4.05. The patch I am posting here is just a re-base on v.6.03.
