wine users - Aug 2010 - Call of Duty 4 install error '1628: Failed to complete....'

Heya,

I put in the Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare DVD into my drive. I navigate to it
using Nautilus. When I've browsed there I open a console and type:

wine setup.exe


After a few seconds I get this message:

1628: Failed to complete installation.

It should be supported according to appdb.winehq.org, I couldn't find any
install tips there, though.
