[Wine] HTML rendering is currently disabled (Wanna' play GUNZ!)
Okay, I'm a super super-dee-duper newbster. Aaaaand I'm on a MacBook. Aaaaand I'm running Leopard (10.5.8). So I've used Wine before a loooong time ago for some things, but nothing big. And now I want to play Gunz (from ijji.com). I got everything downloaded (the reactor) and then it tells me something about "Gecko" needing to be installed. I get everything all installed and check "Launch Ijji Reactor" box on the final page of the installer. And then it takes a while, and then a white box pops up with "HTML rendering is currently disabled" written in the middle. I'm discouraged. So I go do some research, but I just don't know enough to wrap my head around it. Got any tips?

Okay, so I tried a direct file download (Not with Reactor), and I got the Gunz downloader. Installed and tried running it, but got an error message: X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation) Major opcode of failed request: 129 (Apple-DRI) Minor opcode of failed request: 2 () Value in failed request: 0x20004f Serial number of failed request: 453 Current serial number in output stream: 453 THE HELL?!

'Kay it says WineHelper version 1.0b (1.0) And I got Wine a LOOOONG time ago. I just got a new one just in case, but uninstalled. I don't know what version, but it's like... x86. Not sure what that means. And I don't know what virtual desktop is, but would that help my second problem (my follow-up post)? And I don't know what the AppDB / FAQ entries are, haha. I'll go look'em up, though.
