wine users - Oct 2008 - cant get window focus for keyboard inputs

when i run wine application they dont get focus in most time

e.g. i run notepad and when i write somesting it will displayed in console i
used to run notepad

i can mark something using my mouse or open menus but everything i write is in
console not in wine application

help please

Did you change any settings in winecfg? Like "allow window manager to
control Wine windows"?
