wine users - Oct 2008 - mouse cursor not working in wine window

I just installed gOS 3.0 which includes wine 1.0.
However, mouse cursor does not work in the wine window.  Whenever I move the my
into the wine window, it disappears.  i can only use tab key to move around,
which make wine almost useless.
Anyway to turn the mouse on?
