I installed unreal tournament '99 on WINE and whenever I try to open it, it says "Starting Unreal Tournament" in a new tab at the bottom and then it disappears and nothing happens. Any suggestions? I'm using a x64-Opteron 1.8Ghz Dual-Core, x64 Ubuntu, 2gb of RAM, Nvidia 6150 with Restricted Drivers. P.S. - Please give me a somewhat step-by-step because I'm all-knowledgeable about Linux.

Any suggestions? You are aware there's a native Linux version of the UT99 binaries, right? It's best to avoid emulating anything you can do with a native binary. -- Paul Johnson baloo at ursine.ca -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... I know that there's a native of it but every copy I download of it always gives me a MD5 Checksum Error even when I go to different sites. So this is my only other option besides going back to... dare I say it... win....dows...

It appears ubuntu binaries are not compatible with SafeDisc. Or you have not properly installed your game.
