I installed unreal tournament '99 on WINE and whenever I try to open it, it says "Starting Unreal Tournament" in a new tab at the bottom and then it disappears and nothing happens. Any suggestions? I'm using a x64-Opteron 1.8Ghz Dual-Core, x64 Ubuntu, 2gb of RAM, Nvidia 6150 with Restricted Drivers. P.S. - Please give me a somewhat step-by-step because I'm all-knowledgeable

Hi. I'm no gouru in wine ussage so my information will be a bit chaotic. I'm runnig wine for many reasons, but mostly for Avisynt+HCenc, and UnrealTournamet GOTY. Specs: Freebsd 5.5 (actualy DesktopBSD 1.0), Xorg 6.9.0, KDE 3.5.1, SiS 661 buit in graph card (poor one, no dri), no winetools. I recently installed wine 0.9.14, after some time. ...another. I am not able to use my Mouse in Unreal. The window does not catch the mouse, even if I tried nearly everything. I set DirectX-Mousegrab in /etc/wine/config and ~/.wine/wine.conf to "Y" .... I let the Windowmanager manage the winewindow, I played with the CaptureMouse Options in UnrealTournament.ini but nothing is working. But Unreal is nearly unplayable for me without the mouse ! Is there anybody who can point me to a hint how I can force wine to grab the mouse ? Any commandlineoptions for wine or for Unreal ?? Any suggestions ? Thanx a lot. Greetx Jason

I installed Unreal Tournament '99 and at first it was going too fast so I set the frame rate limit to 60 and swap interval to 1 in UnrealTournament.ini. I still have one problem. The game stutters. Every 1 or 2 seconds it stops and skips that part completely making it unplayable. I even downloaded the new OpenGL engine and I still have the problem. Please help.
