wine users - Jan 2006 - unreadable small fonts

I like to run character mode program with wine. When I start it, every  
character seems to be 1 or 2 pixel height, which is unreadable.

I read the online documentation for fonts and consol, but I haven't found  
any usefull idea.

Do anybody have one?
