wine users - Oct 2004 - Missing menus...

Hi,
   I'm running 20041019 this morning using a new program that I've not
been able to load before. (Native Instruments Reaktor Session) The GUI
is up and looking good, but menus are essentially missing. When I
choose the 'File' menu what I see is a gray box with 5 gray lines in
it, then one menu entry that has appropriate text, and then another
gray line.On the one entr that has text, if I choose it I see a small
(no-tiny) gray box to the right of the text. Probably another missing
menu.

1) Are there any config options that have an effect on this sort of thing?

2) Is there a known Windows DLL that I might provide Wine to fix this?
