wine users - Oct 2004 - Registry

Hello

I get an error when Wine is starting :
Please use the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\Software\Fonts\LogPixels
to set the screen resolution and remove the "Resolution" entry in the
config file

An error? Doesn't Wine still run? Anyway, I think that message is gone 
in newer versions of Wine. At least, I no longer see it, and I never 
added the registry entry.

Presumably you have upgraded from an earlier version of wine.

Edit the ~/.wine/config file; find the line that begins
"Resolution"Note that value.
remove the line
run wine.
If you have a problem with the fonts try using regedit to set the given entry 
to the value you noted above.
