Found the cause. And this is why I'm crossposting it, so that those
running icecast2 can avoid it.
My friend tried to connect to an already existing mountpoint and it core
dumped as shown above. We were able to duplicate this problem.
So be sure to check <A
HREF="http://<server">http://<server</A>>:<port>/stats.xml
to see what mounts are
active before trying a connect or you may well knock the server over.
I should stress that I checked out ice2 around 3 weeks ago so this *might*
have already been fixed.
Oh and for anyone looking for my stream at
http://bumpy.braille.uwo.ca:9000/test.ogg (22khz mono, around 32kbps), it's
now back online. I noticed people have been tuning in. Thanks and enjoy!
