Hello friends, I have a question for you, my server is in 4.4 (centos) and it is a Pentium III of 500 MHZ, it's a compaq proliant, now I want to change the dark disc of it to other, which is HP Pentium IV, is it possible that the change of server can be recognized by the Linux or I would have problems at the moment of it is started in the new server? r1000 Driver
I'd like to add a page for the Realtek r1000 NIC driver for the RTL8110SC (and others) chipset. This driver is not included in the kernel. I've previously posted to the general mail list: http://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos/2007-February/075383.html I'm guessing this would go in the HardwareList section. Otherwise a page titled 'Realtek r1000 Driver' would work. my

two problems with flac and ices 0.4 build
i'm trying to build ices0.4 and vorbis-tools 1.0.1 with flac 1.1.1. Neither seems happy, hence the crossposting (sorry). ICES0.4 --- ices refuses to see the libFLAC library, even if i specify --with-flac=/usr/local/lib (or even just --with-flac=/usr/local/, as the configure script seems to look in the lib and include subdirectories of the specified path?). i get a configure error: configure: error:...

NIS - netgroup
Hello; Sorry for the crosspost/repost, but I am getting desparate here. I am having difficulties setting up ssh (ossh4.3p2 - NIS -Solaris8/Sparc) to authenticate and allow ossh access based on NIS netgroup. So, users and/or host should be from a valid netgroup triple, contained within the ossh servers .rhosts, .shosts, host...

Voicemail to Text Transcription(was: Re: [asterisk-dev] Voicemailto text translation)

What are the cheapest prices for (humans) transcribing voicemail to text as a service? The absolute cheapest, regardless of (known) quality - the quality only has to compete with (cheaper) automated transcription, which is abysm...
