Good news all! I now have a functional version of the Quicktime Component of the Ogg Vorbis decompressor. In English: this extension will allow all Quicktime apps to play .oggs (including iTunes). I plan on posting it ASAP. I have a few problems with memory that I'd like to get cleared up first. I plan on carbonizing it as soon as it functions in classic. I'll also do a Winders version. -- Nick D'Amato No U-Turn Software http://www.nouturn.com/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- The No U-Turn Forums - http://www.nouturn.com/forum/ --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to 'vorbis-dev-request@xiph.org' containing only the word 'unsubscribe' in the body. Allocating memory at decode time is not a good idea on Mac OS 9, as you may be called at interrupt time when the heap is in mid-compaction.
