Problems with World of Warcraft since 0.9.48 update

Sound shuts off when going past the main menu in MGS1
I've got Metal Gear Solid running fairly smoothly in Wine 1.3.31 on Mac OSX Snow Leopard, with no instability or crashes so far. When I start the game, the sound acts as it should-- however, going past the main menu (such as to Briefing or New Game) causes the sound to stop working. How can this issue be fixed? Shockware + firefox sound issues
I have firefox installed under wine (v1.5 on 20050830) and running fairly well. I have installed Shockwave + flash, both of which seem to work as good as their native counterparts (Native Windows in the case of shockwave) except that sound in shockwave is jumpy and seems to be suffering from an underrun issue. NASCAR 2003 and sound issues
I've submitted a bug on this issue, but I'm hoping to find a workaround that may help resolve the bug or get me to where I want to be - racing this game. Sound stutter problem
Is there any way to control this? I get severe stuttering accompanied by repeated messages eg >fixme:dsound:DSOUND_MixOne problem with underrun detection (mixlen=57312 < primary_done=64624) when running a game program (Broken Sword II). dddraw unable to draw in CVS
Hi, I often build wine every 2 or 3 days from cvs source, and I recognize that there are updates around x11drv, ddraws, and d3d8/9 at these days. 4 or 5 days ago, where I found that ddraws are unable to draw at all (was still working wine 0.9.15) in some games/programs which use it. Ubuntu 6.06, wine and ALSA
Hello everybody. I got some strange problem when running wine with ALSA as sound driver. [RESEND] Mixer + Joystick problems with a game. Anybody willing to debug?

Final Fantasy VIII works, but sound choppy.
Hey Folks. I've been playing FF8 in Linux the last few days (Software Rendering). Don't think it ever worked accelerated in windows either, though (GeForce card). The graphics keep a fair pace and everything would be good, if it weren't for the choppy sound. HoMM 3 - SoD not working under FC6, but does in FC5
I am able to run HoMM 3 (3DO version) SoD expansion with the 3.2 update and the No CD crack on FC5. However it doesn't run on FC6. I tried disabling SELinux and that did not have an appreciable effect. I tried wine versions 0.9.24, 0.9.25 and 0.9.27.
