Hi there, iam realy new to Linux and would consider me as total noob :) I was realy happy because i got Wc3 running, but now i'm getting this buffer underrun errors and sometimes the game crashs, but in 1 of 5 games my pc just freezes, i was wondering if this buffer underrun causes that or something else. "err:dsound:DSOUND_MixOne underrun on sound buffer 0x18f7a8" Anyways, my sound doesnt realy work the whole time... perhaps for 2 minutes, then it gets those strange loop and sometimes it sounds like a helicopter, but changing my sound driver in the warcraft3 options the sound works again, for a few minutes. Iam using Kubuntu Edgy (6.10) x84_64 and the latest wine version ( 0.9.33 ). Could it be possible that my wc3 does those strange things because there isnt a wine version for x64 cpus, yet? I think thats a known bug.. but.. is there a version of wine and/or ubuntu where it runs stable, i need to get my wc3 running :-) Thanks for reading and sorry for my bad english. AFAIK there is a commandline switch (wine w3.exe -opengl).> Could it be possible that my wc3 does those strange things because > there isnt a wine version for x64 cpus, yet?that is no problem - wine has to run in 32bit for 32bit windows. -- cu -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
