Zaptel -> DAHDI: now echo
Hello I have upgraded our asterisk box from zaptel to dhadi two weeks ago... Since, there has been quite a significant amount of echo when making a call. Only for the local outgoing call, the person on the other side doesn't hear any echo. This is with a TE-110P ISDN PRI card .. I've pretty much took the original zaptel configuration and used it as-is with the dahdi one ; to no

Dahdi & Congestion status
Hi, I'm using an half T1 line on a asterisk (obviously :)) 1.6.2.4 system, up to recently everything was fine but we are starting to experience the call limitation of the line (15). So as to warn user of the problem i attached a vocal notification to the CONGESTION status after a Dial(), but it looks like it also catch other congestion case (maybe on the receiver side). Dahdi/callerid issue
Hi All, Maybe someone knows this, im using dahdi in combination with a TDM400, where 2 analog PSTN lines are connected. The weird thing is tho that when someone calls the analog lines it goes perfectly fine, the line comes in and all works ok. Except: Sometimes the callerid from the caller is not the complete number, but only a few random numbers from that phonenumber, and sometimes its complete.

Dahdi Echo canceller setup
Hi I have a TDM400 and 4 channels of HPEC. I don't use the POTs lines much so I didn't realize it wasn't working. This morning I was watching the console and noticed that the echo canceller didn't load when a call came in. /etc/dahdi/system.conf showed mg2 for all 4 channels. I changed them all to hpec and then restarted dahdi and Asterisk and suddenly HPEC was working. Is

Recommended Linux version or how to compile DAHDI on Fedora?
Hi, I’m currently using 32 CENTOS 5 but it’s now unsupported. I only have a 32 bit processor and CENTOS no longer supports 32 bit so I need to move on. I’ve installed the current version of 32 bit Fedora and I can’t get the latest Dahdi to build. Even tried downloading the early release DAHDI from github with no luck. Any recommendation for which 32 bit LINUX to use going forward? Or

DAHDI and Analogue lines (UK)
Have an intersting issue whem migrating a site from Zap on 1.3 to DAHDI on 1.4.. Nothing special about the hardware - older TDM400 card, 2 red modules fitted... Both channels work fine under 1.2/Zaptel. With 1.4/DAHDI both channels still work OK, but only for one line - the 2nd line causes it to refuse to dial-out no matter which port it's plugged into. The Lines are bog-standard BT

DAHDI disconnect supervision timing
Ok so this is officially driving me crazy. I have an Asterisk 1.6.1.6 install with DAHDI/DAHDI tools (latest) and an OpenVOX TDM400 card with 1 FXO port and 1 FXS port. I have a POTS line from my phone company attached to the POTS line. I have asked for "disconnect supervision" to be provisioned on my line and they claim to have added it. However, my scenario is as follows: I receive a

Sending a hook flash to a DAHDI channel
I've got a piece of CPE equipment that has an FXS port that I have tied to an FXO port on a TDM400 clone card. Normally, if I go off-hook with a standard telephone connected to it, I get a dialtone. If I dial a digit, and send a hookflash, the device will provide a dialtone back for the next available channel on the device. I'm trying to recreate this same behavior with Asterisk,

Trying to configure xorcom on Suse 11
I'm having trouble getting a xorcom set up. A large part of the problem is that the box is a _long_ way away and I can't get to/at it easily, so while I could probably fix this in a few hours if the machine were in front of me, I'm struggling over a slow unreliable laggy link. Ok, enough whining from me. I have a new Xorcom plugged into the usb of a Suse 11 machine I built Dahdi

dahdi & tdm400p: no luck
As best i could figure it out, I've installed dahdi and rc4. setup for fax machine
Becasue of all the issues with fax over voip, we want to use pstn for our fax machine, but not dedicate a line just to fax. I'm thinking of having asterisk answer the pstn line, check for fax tones, and route appropriately. In zapata ( chan_dahdi ) set faxdetect=incoming then the dial plan would have [incoming-pstn] exten => fax,1,Dial(DAHDI/1) ; the fax machine exten =>

DAHDI hangup detection
I am running Asterisk 1.6.1.6 and DAHDI/DAHDI tools 2.2.0.2 compiled from source on a Debian Lenny box, also running FreePBX 2.5.2. I also have an OpenVOX TDM400 card installed with an FXO port on port 1, and an FXS port on port 2. I have a POTS line installed and working on the FXO port. However I've encountered a weird problem that I can't seem to figure out. I have incoming POTS

TigerJet 320G Chip / TDM400 Chipset / DAHDI Support
Hi, I'm curious what chip Digium is using in the latest TDM400 cards. Specifically, to my recollection, they used to use the TigerJet 320G, however somewhat recently, Tigerjet was bought out, and now the 320G is no longer produced. Maybe a better question is: is there a way I can take the latest DAHDI source and get a list of supported chipsets from it? Thanks. MCH -------------- next part
