OT: Aastra 57i configuration via TFTP problem

We are trying to avoid using the web UI, the reason is it will take a long time typing the softkey xml applications URIs on each phone, so we chose TFTP. Softkey config example for Cisco 7941/7961

Polycom Park by EFK
Has anyone gotten one-touch call parking to work on Polycom phones via the Enhanced Feature Keys feature working? I've looked at various examples, they appear correct, but the phones (501, 3.1.x firmware) show the Park button while in a call but this does not actually cause the call to be parked. Polycom softkey transfer issue

Cisco7960/SCCP Transfer Help?
I have a Cisco 7960 running 7.2 of their SCCP image; I am running Asterisk 1.0.5 and using the latest Sourceforge version of SCCP2. Problem with Aastra 480ci and qualify=yes
Hi, We have a few Aastra 480ci phones and we've noticed that in order to get the phone to receive a call, qualify must be = no. Apparently the Aastras do not respond to the qualify message (or respond in a way Asterisk doesn't understand) and Asterisk thinks the phone is unreachable. Dialing from "Placed Calls" on Polycom IP501 doesn't always work

Has anyone been able to do the following: 1. Set the phone to automatically record all calls to the USB stick, now you have to press three keys. 2. Put Record on the main screen when a call is active. This would eliminate having to press the 'more' softkey. Thanks, Matt

Sorry for being a little off topic, but I'mconsidering a few new phones for my Asterisk installation. I have a mix of Polycom 500/600s and an Aastra 480i CT. I'm considering adding a couple of Aastra 57i or 57i CT. Does anyone here have experience with the 480i CT and the newer 57i CT? I'm curious as to the real differences. Extension status as XML for an Aastra 57i

Polycom 501 dialing problem
When I want to pick up a ringing line, I dial *8 and hit New Call softkey on my Poly 501. For some reason, if I pick up the hand set and dial *8, it seems to ignore or drop the 8 digit. I've confirmed that this happens with all of my 12 Polycom 501s. Does anyone know what would cause this or how to fix it?
