Call Center software opensource or commercia l
Hello,
We use and develop the astGUIclient suite. It is Open-source(as in GPL) and
offers Inbound and Outbound call center functions with reports, ACD,
monitoring, recording and very basic IVR scripts. Complex IVR functions need
to be custom programmed within Asterisk but that is not really that hard. It
works across multiple Asterisk servers and we are using it currently at 5
locations including

Aasterisk large-scale deployment w/analog phones
hello,
I am planning a fairly large hotel VoIP system, using analog phones. It will
consist of about 100 analog phones, that must have access to a VoIP server.
I am considering an option to use a couple of asterisk boxes, bundled with a
total of four TDM2460E cards, and one TDM2451E card.
Has anyone on this list done something similar? It would be great to hear
some comments regarding a smilar

Solution for 12 to 16 FXO to asterisk connection
Hi, today a customer asked how to use asterisk with 12 to 16 FXO
ports. I can use a channel bank with 16 FXO ports and connect the
channel bank with a T1 cable to a T1 card in the Asterisk Server.
Asterisk will then send the calls to the Voip provider over the
internet.
However a 16 fxo port channel bank is about USD 1500 + a t1 card USD
500 + a USD 1000 computer = 3 thousand us dollars + my

Inbound call center - reliability \ scalabil ity with queues
For an inbound call center with 4 T1s and 30-50 agents on you would do just
fine with a single, one-processor machine. We have handled more than this on
a single P4 server although we use astGUIclient instead of Asterisk queues,
but the load is very similar. I would recommend a Sangoma Quad T1 card
because they are about 30% more efficient than Digium T1 cards.
When you say that you need to

Hi, haven't found anything in google's, i wonder if there is a

Since i have not used *ever* such kind of mini atx form factor boards,

Just a question, has anyone knows how to blank or factory reset an
AudioCodes MP124-C/FSX/AC/SIP unit (it's a 24 FSX to SIP unit).
I purchased them second-handed with no manuals (thank god for the
internet!!) but i guess the pdf manual I have does not have the
section of factory-reset.
Also, any sucess stories with:

Cannot build rpm with mysql support from dovecot.spec
I've been playing for hours with the dovecot.spec file to build
--with-mysql. The resulting RPM builds fine but when dovecot runs it
does not recognize the passdb mysql statement.
I also noted that the spec file has a version of 1.0-stable and
rpmbuild complains about an invalid '-' in the version.
Being a newbie in rpmbuild, can someone assist me in building for
CentOS 4 on i386?

Prefered server hardware
What server hardware would you recommend for an Asterisk system which are really critical?
The additional hardware will probably be two digium TE110P cards, and an Adit 600 platform.
If it's possible to run on -48VDC, It would be great!
Are there any experiences with any HP or FujitsuSiemens systems? Or other "complete server" systems?
Thanks!
