E&M + Dial tone
Maybe of you guys know the answer to this: We have T1's that come from both MCI and Global Crossing as channelized (24 Ports per T) with inband (DTMF) delivery of ANI and DNIS (format = *DNIS*ANI*). My old equipment was set for D4, AMI, SF and Wink Start and so is Asterisk. I've moved these T's to Asterisk TE410P and inbound calls are arriving to external voice mail system correctly

Yellow Alarm issues with second TE410P installed
Hi, Ok, I put the new TE410 into our system last night - This is the second TE410P card. There is also TDM400P in Slot 5 with IRQ 9 which is shared with aic7xxx (SCSI) According to "cat /proc/interrupts", the new card is in the second slot using IRQ 11 (the first card is in slot 1 on IRQ 10 - but always has been). With only the original card install, there has been no issues with

E&M Wink and T4xxP losing ability to dial
Hey folks, I'm pulling my hair out on this situation and would welcome some advice: I'm using the AMI Manager to Originate calls onto 2 E&M wink T1 circuits via a T4XXP card from Digium. Everything works fine for about 600(+/- 50) calls then the Manager is suddenly unable to launch calls. Using ZapBarge to listen to the channels themselves you can hear the dtmf digits being dialed,

E&M and Dial tone
I'm a bit confused about how to handle this. I have Asterisk sitting in the middle between a Qwest Long Distance T1 (Voice T1, D4, SF, AMI) and an external voice mail PC using a Dialogic D/240SC-T1 card. The Qwest T1 originally was connected to the Dialogic card directly. The signaling was set to E&M Wink Start because Dialogic used this as its default settings, so it just worked

TE410P timing and multiple, different spans
Greetings... I have a TE410P with four T1's going into it. Things look roughly like this: #1 Goes to PBX -- we're responsible for timing #2 E&M span to telco 1 #3 PRI span to telco 1 #4 PRI span to telco 2 If I set primary sync source to span 2, users report strange echo, distortion, and crosstalk problems, which sound remarkably like frame slippage on spans 3 and 4. If I set

E&M Wink start problem
Attempting to talk to an Eagle Telephonics switch at a disaster exercise. Didn't think a plain old E&M wink start T1 would be this much of an issue. We finally got the Eagle to accept a call from *, but whilst I can hear the person on the Eagle, they can't hear me. When they initiate a dial out I only get the first 2 digits from their switch... Does anyone have decent

E&M ?
When I send a call from my TE410P using E&M, the legacy PBX answers the call but doesn't route it. Any idea what this could be? I assume the digits aren't being delivered properly to the legacy pbx. Any suggestions on what config settings to muck with? Asterisk SVN-branch-1.2-r40901 built by root @ pbx04 on a i686 running Linux on 2007-01-14 14:05:02 UTC zaptel.conf

TE410P -> Dialogic D240SC
Basically, have an old IVR application running under Apex's Omnivox software on a box with 4 old intel dialogic D240SCs, and would like to allow remote clients to gain access to aforementioned IVR application via softphone, 7960, ata, etc via asterisk with a TE410P. Unfortunately, all I know about the dialogics is that they're configured for D4/AMI, which I believe I have configured right

E&M Wink problems
We're having some difficulty connecting a T1 fax board card to asterisk, with E&M Wink. We've successfully connected it to other E&M Wink T1s, but have been unable to get asterisk to hear it's dialing. Asterisk can dial down to it with no problem, and it hears all the digits, but whenever it sends digits down to asterisk, * always only "gets" the first one. This is

E&M DID config question
I am trying to make an in/out trunk group comprised of 4 DS0's using E&M Wink signalling. The first four channels of a DS1 on a T100P are being used for the group. Outbound calls work fine, but inbound calls fail. The other 20 DS0 channels are used for a PRI. Does the configuration shown below look okay? I've tried setting 'immediate => yes' without success, but it

TE410P lights don't blink read after the module is loaded
Greetings, According to the FAQ "When you load the module and have no circuit/channel bank the LED's should flash red" I get the "knight rider" lights before the module loads, but after the modules are loaded I don't get any lights, other equipment plugged in or not. The card has been on my shelf a while so I wonder if it needs a firmware upgrade ? Can the cards

Telrad + E&M T1 Trunk
All, One of our customers is using a Telrad PBX, we are providing phone server through asterisk via a T1 using e&m directly connected to the Telrad system. We're using a T1 cross cable as normal, the T1 part works great. No alarms. When we try and dial out the Telrad using a direct trunk group, the call fails. When looking in the asterisk console I noticed only 1 or 2 digits are seen,

Does Asterisk support T1 E&M Wink/Wink voice channels on any Digium/Sangoma hardware?
Hi, Did anyone manage to connect either Digium or Sangoma T1 card to any other PBX/gateway using T1 E&M Wink/Wink signaling? I'm trying to connect Avaya Definity to an Asterisk box with T100P and so far no luck. (I know I can do so with ISDN PRI, but need an additional ISDN processor card for Definity.) I tried to connect Definity to Cisco 3640 CCME (call manager express) to test the link

E4 Superframe E&M?
I need to create a couple of tie lines between a legacy system and an Asterisk system. I was told that the tie lines are E4 Superframe E&M. I have done E&M wink but have no idea about E4 Superframe E&M and Google is not helping me here. Does anyone know about this type of signaling and if Asterisk can handle it? Thanks, Steve

T1 E&M vs PRI question
Ok, I'm about to take the plunge, and am trying to decide between Channelized T1 E&M and PRI. I'm getting an "Integrated T1" which will have data and voice capability, all plugged directly into my digium single T1 card. In either case the data piece looks pretty straighforward, just setup the channel properly, hand it off to the linux hdlc layer, and route away.... the

T1 config for robbed-bit E&M AMI
I have a couple of live T1s sitting around and they are not ISDN(like most of the people that are using Asterisk seem to be using), they are regular old 24 channel, robbed-bit, E&M wink start, D4AMI T1 circuits. Can I get these T1s to work with a T100P Digium card and asterisk? Searching through the lists and the documentation I haven't seen any examples of how to configure this kind

T100P E&M Wink Trunk
I am setting up a box with a T100P. Everything is going well. The company I am working with has their one phone switch gear. They provisioned me a E&M Wink T1. Cannot do PRI unfortunately. We chose E&M so we could pass an unlimited number of DIDs to the trunk as apposed to FXS loopstart signaling. I can make outbound calls no problem, but I am having problems with the dial plan for inbound

Asterisk analog DID with Adit 600
Hello All, I'm trying to connect Asterisk to an Executone phone system with an analog DID card and I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what I'm doing wrong. The Executone DID card provides battery to the telco, when the telco wishes to dial a DID it goes off-hook, waits for a wink from the Executone and then dials the last three digits on the number with pulse (as opposed
