Queue Setup
Hi, I am on my next venture now, Need to set up 3 queues. I would like
these setup using the agentcallbacklogin. Does anyone have an example of
this? I have looked through the wiki , but all that did was confuse me.
One of the problems I'm having is how do I configure my extensions.conf to
dial the agentcallbacklogin

Dynamic Queue Members - Auto Logoff
Another quick question (Spending the day trying to get this project sorted
and tucked away) If I am dynamically adding queue members, they will not
abide to settings within agents.conf will they?
Ie. I need the equivalent of Autologoff however want my agents to receive
calls when someone joins the queue, not have to sit on hold all day. I see
AgentCallbackLogin has finally been removed.

agent logoff
I am using AgentCallbacklogin to logon agents. I am trying to avoid agents being logged in more than once in different extensions (is this a bug?) by passing the callerid to the AgentCallbacklogin funtcion as an option. The problem is that by doing this, agents are not asked for an extension and they cannot logoff (by pressing the #).
Any ideas how can agents logoff?

autologoff dynamic agents
I use a single queue for all incoming calls, and different people login at
different times to handle the calls, however, quite often, people forget to
logout again (incl me). This causes problems because eventually everyone has
gone home, and people end up sitting in the queue in-definitely...
I use this in extensions.conf
exten => 691,1,AddQueueMember(queue,${CHANNEL})
So, how can I have

Queue Setup almost got it
Check my reply to your last post.
Use SetGroup and Checkgroup before sending the call to your agents.

Agents and Queues
I've just installed asterisk as a new phone system for our office but am
having difficulty with the queues. Specifically I need a way to
redirect our sales queue to voicemail when no one is logged in to the
queue. I see I can use the joinonempty=no setting, however this setting
doesn't work if you use the agent functionality (at least not with
AgentCallbackLogin). I could, of

AgentCallBackLogin vs AddQueueMember
I am developing an ACD front end using Asterisk 1.2.14. I heard that AgentCallBackLogin will be deprecated in future version of *.
Is this true? If it is, how can I use AddQueueMember to replace AgentCallBackLogin? I mean to login an agent in multiple queues at once. I have multiple queues and a lot of agents defined in queues.conf and agents.conf. Each agent may login more than one queue. It

AgentCallBackLogin vsAddQueueMember
sorry, was only for users list...
Hi Kevin,
Hi list,
you are right, acting now is not needed, when callbacklogin will be removed
anywhere in future...
But thinking how to realice alternatives can't be so wrong.
Callbacklogin gives a very simple way to use more queues for one agent,
which only has to logon to only one system.
No need to make dbs or tables for saving, where the agent has to be

Queue() with H option
Has anyone used the H option for Queue() with Callback queues? I want
customers in my queues to be able to jump out to voicemail when they get
tired of waiting, but in my setup when I pretend to be a customer and
press '*' [when I am waiting in the queue] I see the message 'User hit *
to disconnect call.' but then just jump out to the outer loop where
queued callers wait to

I'm using asterisk-1.2.0-beta1.
My configuration is below,
Any ideas?
Many thanks,

Logging In / Out Agents on Asterisk 6 ???
Hi everybody
Did anybody by any chance ever work out how to log in and out agents on
Asterisk 6+?
I used to have it working perfect in Asterisk 1.2 but since I upgraded to 6
the agent login functions are gone and the readme file that came with it
made no sense to me.
I noticed somebody on the net posted that they had the same problem but used
Voicemail to authenticate users, but that seemed a

Agent setup
Dear Group,
I have been successful in setting up the Agents, queues and getting agents
to log in.
Is there a way that I could configure the system so that the agent is called
back. i.e. the agent logs into the system, a call is destined for them and
their phone rings.
If some one has this setup I would be very interested in hearing from them.
Warm Regards and Thanks

Agent autologoff dynamic queue members - Brain aches please help
Hi list,
Using Asterisk 1.2.10
I am getting seriously confused by Queues and Agents.
So far I configured my queue and agents, had my agents login using
agentcallback.
Call enters queue agent gets a call, if agent doesn't answer after 20
seconds a flag is set in AstDB (thanks to: Leo Ann Boon), call is returned
to queue and the cycle continues. If the same agent doesn't

call queue help
Guys I am having some serious issues with my call queue and Management
is breathing down my neck pretty bad, and I am running out of ideas.
I have a single queue for my tech support department. I originally was
using the AgentCallbackLogin for them and it tested out great on our
testing weekends, but it hasn't worked out since. It would only let one
of them take calls at a time, no matter

Agent-Login/out in 1.6
Hi Carlos
"
Agentcallbacklogin was deprecated in Asterisk 1.4 and eliminated from
1.6 so you now need to use Dynamic Agents. Although they claim that is
is simple enough to replace that functionality with dial plan code I
have yet to see a one line example that replaces everything the
agentcallbacklogin command did.|
I totally agree, I have never seen any example that makes it work.

Newbie extensions.conf I need to include [SMS] context.
I want to include a new context in my exensions.conf
I have read this page http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+howto+dial+plan
and I can sort of follow it?!
I have a context [local] that I know zapata.conf points to, I have edited
extensions.conf and put in my phone, sip and iax extensions. I want to add
an sms context.
I understand that all calls go through my [local] context and I have

Agents and AddQueueMember
Hi,
I have callcenter running with v 1.2 with AgentCallbackLogin and now
trying to move to 1.4 using the example doc,
doc/queues-with-callback-members.txt. From what I understand the basic
idea in the example is to
1. Authenticate a caller with VMAuthenticate
2. Get his SIP Channel number
3. Use

how to get remote extensions to work correctly with a zap channel?
I am trying to get remote extensions to work correctly with
agents. I have ackcall=yes and have agents logged in to
extension 101 using agentcallbacklogin with extension 101 defined as:
exten => 101,1,Dial(Zap/3/18165551234,20,tTA(custom/presspoundtoanswer))
This setup works great on local and/or voip channels, but on zap
channels, the zap channel answers immediately as soon as it goes off
