GnuGK Nufone H323 -HEAD - Prefix issue
Greetings-
As most of you who monitor this list know, I've been messing about
with Asterisk -HEAD, Cisco Callmanager, and the nufone H323 channel
driver here for some time- with pretty decent success. I'm hoping to
cash in a chip here- I've run into something that is probably a very
simple answer, yet not found a decent reference to resolve it.
Scenario- -HEAD as of last week

Chan_h323 & gnugk
Ok, I've managed to get inbound and outbound calling to work with chan_h323
and gnugk.
A few questions:
1) if I do a reload in *, chan_h323 loses its registration with gnugk, and
will no longer pass calls to it. A second reload will crash *. Is this
supposed to be?
2) For a configuration in h323.conf like:
[office]
type=h323
prefix=9
context=outbound
I get a message saying:

panic in smbd_audit aftar a connect
hello
I'm using Samba 3.0.21b-2 on RHEL4.1.
All the machines are logging to a windows 2003 ADS domain server.
The samba server is a ADS member of this windows 2k3 server and
user's access log is recorded by using the audit module.
I recently came into this trouble, when I connect to samba server from
client, the smbd_audit suddenly got panic.
Please advise me how to solve this

H323 outgoing calls
Does asterisk support using an H.323 provider for outgoing calls? From
everything I have found, it looks like it does. However, I have had no
success in getting it to work. I would really appreciate if somebody
could give me a hand. I am using the channel that comes with asterisk.
I have also tried using the channel from inaccessnetoworks but have not
had any more success. My provider

sshd prints the motd with -t option
Hi,
and another interesting bug report, where I'm not sure what the correct
behaviour of openssh should be. Thanks for your comments:

RH9 and h323.conf
Hello everybody,
First time installer and I need the lists advice. My plan is to use
asterisk PBX with some hardware to terminate my calls coming from
several operational gnugk gatekeepers.
Do have RH9 and downloaded the latest asterisk from CVS. Compiled
according instructions and is running fine.
Could hardly find any info on h323 implementation untill the REAME in
the channels directory.

patch to build h323 without recompiling pwlib, ...
Heya,
I changed the Makefile of the h323-channel-makefile (I downloaded cvs of
a couple of hours ago) so that I don't have to rebuild pwlib and
openh323, but can use the precompiled versions. I'm using pwlib 1.8.3
and openh323 1.15.2. There aren't many changes. I replaced OPENH323DIR
with OPENH323INC ,which points to /usr/include/openh323 for me and
OPENH323LIB, which points to

Asterisk crash on module h323.so loading
Please, help !
I have cvs pwlib v1_4_11 and openh323 v1_11_7 compile it under RedHat 8.0, then cvs asterisk and tried to start load it with chan_h323.so. But Asterisk can't load chan_h323.so module, because:

RE: In Asterisk 1.4.x, Why Digium has two H323 channels?
Hi Users, Administrators and Pavel Jezek,
You prefer chan_h323 from asterisk tree and it's of course that use channels
by tree is very good.
But in 1.2.x, the chan_h323 is very simple and the chan_oh323 is so bad.
And I work with chan_ooh323, that it's too from Digium and work good!
And I am Studing one possible change to Asterisk 1.4.x , but in 1.4.x the
oh323 channel don't have more,

/etc/group issue
Good morning...
I ran into a problem yesterday and I am wondering about the way
samba (2.2.8) reads the /etc/group file. I have a group that has 2000+ users
in it, so the group is defined with multiple entry lines for the same group:
Groupa::1000:id1:id2:...
Groupa::1000:id100:id101:...
I have noticed that a user is in the 1st line of the group
definition (ie: id1), he can get access to the
