This is probably more of an IPTables question but... Is there any experience with using as gateway/firewall for a larger office, with 50 or more users, mail and web server? Thanks

But we have about 200 users on a 2Mbps line, with a Celeron/333 64MB and 4xIntel Etherexpress PRO cards, doesn''t even sweat.
Jim, We have Shorewall running as our main firewall\gateway on 2 Class "C" networks and it is also doing all the routing between the two networks without any problems. We have about 250 Systems on our network and the firewall is setup on a PII 450 with 380 MB of Ram and 4 Nic Cards. Here, 200+ users go to internet via a 1Mbps line through a Pentium 133/32MB/HD IDE using generic 3com cards running shorewall and squid. Works Better than you can dream... shorewall-users-bounces@lists.shorewall.net wrote on 23/01/2003 12:16:54:> >This is probably more of an IPTables question but...
