[LLVMdev] Oversight group for LLVM
...more. At the same time, the software itself has undergone some significant changes and improvements, and been ported to new platforms. We expect that both the community and the software will continue evolve significantly over time. We feel that this would be a good time to establish a small oversight group to manage the continued development, distribution, and community-building process for LLVM. Our broad aim is to foster the wider adoption and growth of LLVM, and encourage participation and contributions from both UIUC and non-UIUC users. We do *not* want to create a bureaucracy, and d...

[LLVMdev] Oversight group for LLVM
...way to arbitrate disagreements between developers. I feel that #1 is important to continue to attract new developers, particularly those in the commercial sector. #2 is important as LLVM grows, because more people working on a project have more chances for conflict. I hope and expect that the oversight group will end up being extremely low-volume. -Chris > ----Original Message Follows---- > From: "Vikram S. [LLVMdev] Thumb categorizing TST wrongly

In latter case how do I fix it? Tablegen input? Thanks and cheers, Gabor

LNT Server offline
...at the llvm.org server, running at UIUC, was still in operation and hosting an active LNT instance. I was under the assumption the LNT server ran elsewhere. As a result, the ability for the LNT bots to submit run information to the "old" LNT server is now gone. I am very sorry for this oversight. In speaking with Chris Matthews this afternoon he suggested we ask all of you if you would care to redirect your LNT bots to the new LNT instance currently running at https://lnt.llvm.org. In the meantime, I am going to work to get a dump of the "old" LNT database off of the UIUC machi...

Oversight I think, and it needs to be fixed with isCompare around the relevant patterns (ARM mode doesn't see this since isCompare is in the multiclass). -eric

No --no-latex?
Hi, Having finally gotten around to installing R-2.9.0, I find that while the docs still say I can invoke the --no-latex option, R CMD INSTALL has decided that I can't. Nor is there any notice of this that I can find in the 2.9 series news. Is this just a trifling oversight that will be repaired? Jim

0.22.2 bug?
Hi, I''ve just installed 0.22.2 and believe I''ve discovered a bug (or oversight). I have an exec like this: exec { "change-to-local-mirror": command => "sed -i ''s#\(KERNEL_REPO.*=\).*#\1 $mirror#'' ${rulefile}", path => "/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/bin",...

Adding llvm-undname to the llvm-cov bot

Minor regexp oversight for setext headings
Noticed the patterns for setext style headings are: ^(.+)[ \t]*\n=+[ \t]*\n+ Should be: ^(.+?)[ \t]*\n=+[ \t]*\n+

/boot partition too small
First off - let me say I am not an administrator.?? I need to know?if there is an easy way to increase my /boot partition.? When I installed CentOS 6 after running 5, it was my oversight not to increase the /boot size.? it's too small and I can't do yum updates. if it's not easy to actually increase it, is it safe to take a chunk in my root filesystem (like /new.boot or something) and just mount it as /boot from now on so it uses the space or is that not a good idea?? ...binaries passed to llvm/utils/prepare-code-coverage-artifact.py so that llvm/lib/Demangle/MicrosoftDemangle.cpp (and friends) show up? (If the config is public, I can send you a patch.) Also, is there a reason llvm/utils/prepare-code-coverage-artifact.py doesn't have +x set, or is that just an oversight? GlobalISEL, and MachineMemOperands?
Looking through the X86 GlobalISEL code for selecting loads and stores, I'm not seeing the creation of the MachineMemOperands I'd expect to see and do see being generated by SelectionDAG.  Is this simply an oversight, or is there some aspect of the new design which pushes us away from MMOs? Various parts of the machine instruction level optimization passes use the existence and contents of an MMO for optimization legality checks.  As a simple example, we won't fold a load unless we can examine it's...
