Postfix and Dovecot SASL - wiki update
...smtpd
was incorrect. It should be:
submission inet n - n - - smtpd
By specifying n for chroot, it ensures that DNS lookups can occur. Otherwise, if you are using reject_unknown_recipient_domain
the following error will occur: Recipient address rejected: Domain not found
Hope that helps.

Powering off the big stuff first
...r 30 minutes of internet that way. Let me watch a bit more streaming?.
I?m convinced that idea is achievable with a little programming.
Mind you, most of my power outages exceed 1 hour.
Do you already do something similar? Do you have something you?d like to share please?
Thank you

Shutdown the servers first, keep the network running
...e items in it. I may be able to use them as well. Looking at my notes[1] from way-back-when, I was unable to get FINALDELAY to be observer (why, is not clear).
I'd be happy to hear suggestion and idea based on your experience please.
I'm running FreeBSD 14.1 and nut 2.8.2
1 - https://dan.langille.org/2020/09/13/nut-testing-shutdown-and-startup/ - I need to redo that timing - none of these servers are still here, and the new ones are not catered for. I hope to be replacing the batteries soon - plenty of opportunity to do that work then.

...atterywholesale.com.
Here is some free coincidental trivia.
I was a sysadmin for the server behind batterywholesale.com for about 10 years. It was part time work. The couple behind the company have since sold the business and retired. I'm still in touch with them from time to time.

Powering off the big stuff first
...it and it didn?t work.
But that was about getting the NUT server to synthesize LB to its clients before the actual UPS did.
If you?re running NUT as a client on your server, then yes, as others have noted, upssched on your server is probably the way to go.

clearing the 'Replace Battery' on Eaton 5PX
...e command line:
[19:41 r730-01 dvl ~] % upsc ups02 | grep -i alarm
ups.alarm: Replace battery!
ups.status: ALARM OL CHRG RB
I've gone though the front panel options and didn't see anything for resetting this warning.
I have found one suggestion: update firmware.
Ideas please?

...r 4 years since I installed them. Looking at on-line sales, these seem to use batteries in a pre-packaged plastic shell. I don't recall if that's what's in my units or not.
Do you have any experience with replacing / filling such shells with 3rd party batteries?
Thank you.
